Towa Tei is a famous Japanese music producer who produces quirky beats from the Land Of The Rising sun with a mixture of Latin American funk. He has also collaborated with famous artists such as Kylie Minogue and Bebel Gilberto. Tei’s music is also renowned for the kitsch and outlandish nature of the artwork, videos and packaging that accompany each release.

I intend to communicate Tei’s signature playful beats using fun as well as colourful consensual motifs and themes to denote the upbeat yet quirky style of the album. I also want to make this cover and Tei’s music withstand the passage of time through the use of light-hearted patterns.
